Self-introduction: Illustrator of "Hitofudegaki"

nice to meet you
I am responsible for the illustrations of aruci's user's book and e-mail newsletter.
My name is Minaco Sakamoto.

We are very pleased to see that our customers often upload user's books to social media along with aruci products.

It's been 12 years since I decided to draw one drawing a day.
I am a "single-stroke artist."

I'd like to take this opportunity to briefly introduce myself today...

Minaco Sakamoto

Since 2011, he has been drawing one "Hitodegaki" picture per day for 12 years.
Won the runner-up prize at the 2018 minne Handmade Awards.
In 2020, he published a collection of his works, "One-Hand Drawing 365 x 10 x 1" (Hokka Shobo).
The company is involved in a variety of activities, including collaborating with Sakura Crebas Co., Ltd., Waji Co., Ltd., and Adastria Co., Ltd. (HARE) at the Tokyo Collection.

I'm a big animal lover, and I enjoy visiting local zoos and aquariums when I travel or on business trips.
Recently, I have been creating artworks with the motif of "endangered species."

↓There are 18 endangered species hidden in this picture too.

I met Mr. Kanno, the CEO of aruci (waji) , in Hong Kong in 2019!

We both exhibited at an event held in Hong Kong, and it all started when Kanno stopped by my booth to buy a souvenir for the staff.

Since then, I have sympathized with Mr. Kanno's passion for manufacturing, and we have had the opportunity to work together on various projects, including collaborating on aoneco and working on illustrations for aruci.

You will always be warmly welcomed at aruci's workshop.
Our designers, craftsmen, sales staff, and logistics staff all work sincerely with our products, and do their work with care and sincerity, keeping our customers in mind.

We hope that many people will continue to use aruci, which was born from this "warm manufacturing" philosophy, for a long time.

We have various plans, including an illustration giveaway, so we hope you enjoy them too!

Thank you for your continued support.
