FAQ - Scissor Apron (Hakama Apron) Edition -
Following on from the scissor case section, we have compiled some frequently asked questions about scissor aprons.

●What is a scissor apron?
It is an apron with a scissor pocket attached, making it a scissor case + apron. In fact, aruci was the first to develop it, so the term "scissor apron" was also coined by aruci. (Trademark registered) 
●Can it be made for left-handed use?
Yes, you can! Right-handed people will have a right-handed scissor pocket on the right hand pocket, and left-handed people will have a left-handed scissor pocket on the left hand pocket.
When selecting your scissor pocket, you can choose your dominant hand, so if you select left, it will automatically be placed in the pocket on the left hand side.
●Can I purchase it without the scissor pocket?
Yes, you can. If you are considering adding scissor pockets in the future, we can send you the apron with just the hooks attached, as you will need a fastener (hook) on the apron as well. This way, even if you purchase the scissor pocket separately later, you can use it right away without having to send the apron to the workshop.
If you would like this, please write in the comments section along with your dominant hand, such as "hook only (right-handed)." 
●What options are available?
In addition to the scissor pocket, there is also a pen holder and key holder.
The scissor pockets are available for hairdressers (3-6 scissors), trimmers (3-5 scissors), and florists (2 scissors).
The pen holder and key holder are made from wajinume leather and are available in four colors (natural, camel, brown, and black). 
●Does it come with a duckbill strap? Can I change its position?
The duckbill belt is attached from the beginning. Please note that it cannot be changed as positioning holes are punched during cutting.
●Can I add a name?
Yes, you can! We will engrave it on the pen holder. Please specify up to 12 alphanumeric characters. You can choose uppercase and lowercase letters.
●Is it okay to wash it?
The leather used for the apron is washable, so it can be washed. Please remove the attached scissor pocket, pen holder, and key chain. We recommend hand washing. If using a washing machine, place it in a laundry net, use a mild detergent, and avoid tumble drying.
●Will the coloring come off?
The coloring agent on the apron is difficult to remove. If it gets on your apron, we recommend wiping it off and washing it immediately. The black washable leather apron is relatively easy to remove and is less noticeable.
●I'm concerned about the height and length of the apron.

●Can I have the hem altered?
We offer hem alterations of 8cm and 13cm. There is a 700 yen fee for alterations. You can choose the length from the product page. Please refer to the photos before making your decision.

●Can I change the color of the apron's shoulder straps or leather?
Sorry, but this cannot be changed.
●Is it made in Japan?
All aruci products are made in Japan (by artisans in our own workshop and the representative of the collaborative brand FRENGO). Most of the leather and fabrics used are made in Japan, with some made in Italy.
●Are repairs and maintenance possible?
Of course! Repairs are free for the first year after purchase, and will continue after that. We will provide full support so that you can enjoy using the product for a long time.
